- All exposed exterior materials are pressure treated to resist insect damage and decay. The 4x6 runners are notched 1 inch deep into which the treated 2x4 floor joists are fastened for greater strength and stability. Floor joists are spaced 16 inches apart. The treated plywood floor is 5/8 inch for standard barns and 3/4 inch for garage.
All T1-11 siding is treated 5/8 inch and is of top quality. Exposed nails are galvanized for no rust spots or streaks. The 2x4 reinforced doors are designed to fit tightly to seal out rain and rodents and are provided with a key lock for your protection. A series of air vents are positioned to provide air ventilation.
• All wood buildings are stained with a cedar colored stain.
